Juventus midfielder, 30, who was suspended last month after his A sample found elevated levels of testosterone in his system. He was selected for random testing after being an unused substitute on August 20th with Juventus’ 3-0 win at Udinese.

Pogba currently has the tendency of receiving a possible two to four year ban if found guilty of doping.

After his suspension in September, Nadio Italia said he violated anti-doping rules when it found the prohibited substance in his system.

“non-endogenous testosterone metabolites” and the results were “consistent with the exogenous origin of the target compounds”.

Testosterone is a hormone that increases the
endurance of athletes.

Speaking at the time of the initial suspension,
Pogba’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, said: “What is
certain is that Paul Pogba never wanted to break a rule.”

However, Pogba’s return to Turin has been marred by persistent injury issues, leading to his absence from the last year’s World Cup in Qatar.

In the current season, Pogba has only managed to play a mere 51 minutes as a substitute in matches against Bologna and Empoli.

His performance in the previous season was also severely limited, with only 108 minutes of play across six Serie A games, three brief appearances, and one assist in the Europa League, along with a mere 11 minutes in the Coppa Italia.

This sums up to a total of 162 minutes without any goals. Recently, Pogba’s injury woes resurfaced when Juventus manager Massimo Allegri revealed that the player had picked up a minor back problem following his appearance against Empoli.
